Lloyd White is seeking reelection to the Beaumont City Council. He holds a B.A. in Economics from UCLA and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Redlands.
Lloyd's public service began as an engaged resident asking questions at City Council meetings before he was ever elected. Since joining the Council, he has helped guide Beaumont through a difficult period of financial recovery and rebuilding public trust. He has also represented Beaumont on the Riverside County Transportation Commission, including serving as Chair.
Rehabilitated more than 150 lane miles of streets, created Beaumont's first street maintenance program, and advanced projects like the Potrero Interchange and the Pennsylvania Grade Separation.
Built Fire Station 106 and continues planning Beaumont's future Police Headquarters, backed by the financial stability to sustain it.
Turned an $11 million budget deficit into strong reserves, cut CFD taxes by nearly $4 million for about 12,000 homeowners, and helped triple sales tax revenue through new business growth.
